Belarusian Programmers Are Through To Google Code Jam Semifinal
Belarusian schoolboy Gennady Korotkevitch has won the seventh place among Google Code Jam's 500 semifinalists. The young programmer has solved seven of
eight problems quickly and correctly. Unfortunately, Gennady will not be able to
take part in further competitions as he is so far under the age of 18.
In 2007, Gennady won the gold medal in the computing science competition and is the leader in the Algorithm
In addition, two more programmers from Belarus, Ivan Metelsky and Vladimir Kerus took the 14th and 125th places, respectively.
The Google Code Jam semifinals will be held in Google regional offices to choose top 100 programmers for the final competition.
